What is an average day of training like? Wake up, eat oatmeal! Then depending on the day I start at Renzo Gracie Philly. We do BJJ followed by hard MMA or sparring. I then hit pads with my striking coach or do strength and conditioning and end my night working specific fight stuff with Daniel.
When and why did you start training for fighting? I have done martial arts since I was 12. I was always super competitive and hated losing. Once MMA picked up it was a matter of time before I got involved.
What ranks and titles have you held? I am the CFFC Lightweight champion.
Do you have any heroes? My family.
What does it mean for you to fight in the UFC? It means I get to really start my career. In my opinion I’m 0-0 now. I didn’t make it yet. This is just a baby step.
